You certainly make a valid argument concerning the interconnected systems that drive our global emergency of global warming. But I think it’s extremely unlikely that the dense energy of fossil fuels we use to run a continuous growth civilization will be abandoned voluntarily in a moment of global clarity. People will fight to keep privilege, even if they die doing so. Nature’s solution to clearing out the hyperobjects of our global madness will be climactic upheaval that kills off much of our human population. This will open up biodiversity reclamation over a cycle of time outside of human perception.
