Umair, as you say, the Texas vigilante law to monitor abortion is outrageous. The positive part is that the law is monstrously outrageous and is easily made into memes of totalitarian jackals. Texas and any states attempting to replicate the Texas vigilante approach will be facing horrendous backlash from every direction. I do not believe that the law will stand or be significant in any enforcement manner because either the law will be blocked or Texas will be blocked economically and be made a pariah state that people will shun. Internally, Texas is trying to stop its “undesirable” people from voting with all sorts of roadblocks, but this kind of outrageous lawmaking by conservative activists will strongly motivate people to overcome voting roadblocks to vote the bums out. If not, and the scenarios play out as you have forecast then all the cowboys in Texas will be dead and the daddies with little girls will be simpering clowns.
