There are multiple pressures pushing on biodiversity and the survival prospects of many species—including humans. There is an inevitability about decline being the guiding force that will be acting on our over-extended human population. The decline has begun and will accelerate with each passing year. There will be points of collapse that happen at various places; and we will see them as warnings but we will be to late in the process to change the overall trajectory of collapse.
