Richard, I read your articles as a voice of “reality” in a world that desires desperately to continue on with the status quo. It’s my opinion that the complexity of our late industrial fossil-fuel dependent “global way of life” locks us in to “failure first” before any radical changes can happen. Assuming that your projections of the heat bomb that will define the remainder of this decade are basically correct, it will be inevitable that by 2030 the status quo of our current industrial model will be utterly ripped apart. The door to chaos and rapid reconfiguration of economies, politics, war, and religion will be open for whatever our next future will become.
