Myth is entertaining for campfire stories to bring on chills and bonding of people. The story of Lilith was perhaps a way to explain sudden infant death and tragic birth defects. The actual history of life on earth as revealed through scientific observations, investigation, and hypotheses testing is much deeper than myth, and is also entertaining and can be used to help bring people together. But even science has its myths, so myth will never go away.
