I was 16yo when Barry Goldwater was running for President. He was against everything democratic and expansive toward human dignity (if you weren’t white). He had the roaring support of the John Birch Society. That line of radical white governance was defeated for a time with the Great Society and going forward until now. The party of the John Birchers has risen once again. It must be defeated once again also.
