I find it interesting to imagine what different futures we might have given that we will be living more and more with extreme weather as global boiling continues to advance over the coming years and decades. There will undoubtedly be surprises during the transition. Gaining wisdom and a healthy introspection would be a big surprise; but maybe the cosmos has some further need for human imagination and there will be a way for improving human intelligence to remain in the earthly ecosystem.
