I can remember with much nostalgia when thinking of the future was dominated by questions about the next new thing for making life easy, entertaining, and leisurely. Seems that paid has been put to that kind of future. Now we are speculating about what developments will be the least awful. And also wondering if any stability can be realized that will allow for a rebooting of a surviving society. I don’t think we can know other than to predict with some certainty that we are headed for unprecedented times for life in general.
