America is very adroit in the use of violence, blunted democracy, slight of hand white supremacy, demagoguery in governance, and deploying science and industry to conduct war against foreign militaries. America will adapt to the changing dynamics of economics, politics, war, and climate crisis as we carve out a new niche for survival in a dramatically changed world—as long as humanity avoids an unsustainable global nuclear war.
